Tammy graduated from Heartlands Dental Assisting Program in 1987 and completed her radiology certification at Ferris State University in 1989. She has been practicing at Ada Family Dentistry since 2000 and has more 20 years of experience in chair side assisting including 11 years in an orthodontic practice. Tammy has attended a number of continuing education courses over the years dealing with clinical aspects of dental assisting and patient management. She also volunteers her time at the Mel Trotter Dental Clinic in Grand Rapids and has been a part of the Tooth Time Event at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum for Children's Dental Health Month.
Outside the office Tammy enjoys spending time with her family and attending her children's sporting events. She also enjoys camping with both family and friends.
Susan holds an associate degree in dental hygiene from Lakeland Community College inMentor, OH. She began working at Ada Family Dentistry in 2008.
Susan stays current with the newest dental technology by attending numerous workshops and seminars. Enabling patients to have a positive, enjoyable experience at the dental office is her main goal. For Susan, the most rewarding aspect of being a dental hygienist is the friendships that develop with her patients.
Susan enjoys traveling, boating, cookin, and sports.
She and her husband have two sons
Jennifer started her dental career graduating from Heartlands Institute of Technology for dental assisting in 2002. Her career paths lead her to Grand Rapids Community College to receive her Associates Degree in Applied Arts and Science for Dental Hygiene in 2007. Jennifer has continued her education and has received her license to administer nitrous oxide sedation and local anesthesia. She stays current by attending continuing education classes and dental seminars.
Outside of the office Jennifer is a volunteer youth leader at her church. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
Sarah began her dental career in 1997 as a dental assistant. She then went on to further her education with an Associates Degree in Applied Science, Dental Hygiene from Grand Rapids Community College in 2004. Sarah worked at Ada Family Dentistry first as a dental assistant in 2004 and then later as a dental hygienist. While working at a pediatric dental office, she had the opportunity to work with children with disabilities and special needs. Sarah feels it is important to establish a positive relationship with her patients. She does this by making her patient feel at ease by building confidence, trust, and friendship. Sarah is devoted to educating her patients on their individual needs. She continues to update her education by taking continuing education classes.
Sarah enjoys cooking, camping with her husband, gardening, and hiking

Kaley received her degree in Applied Arts and Science for Dental Hygiene at Grand Rapids Community College in 2013. She is certified in Nitrous Oxide Sedation and Local Anesthesia. Her goal is to make every dental experience pleasant. She stays current with the latest dental information by attending dental seminars and reading dental journals.
Outside of work, Kaley enjoys being outdoors and spending quality time with her husband Tim, and two daughters, Jordynn & Madilynn.
Pam is one of our Patient Care Coordinators. She received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago. Pam moved to Michigan in 1985 and has worked at Ada Family Dentistry since 1986. She enjoys volunteering and preparing for the Tooth Time Event held at the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum every February. She enjoys furthering her education by attending dental seminars in office management and dental software.
Pam is active in her church and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She enjoys running, hiking, kayaking, and cycling.
Michelle came to Ada Family Dentistry in 1992 as a Dental Assistant. She made a change to the front desk as a Patient Care Coordinator in 1994. She enjoys getting to know all the patients on a personal level, and help them get the most out of their dental benefits to get the treatment they need.
Most days you can find Michelle out on a walk, out in her garden, or working out. She enjoys baking and spending time with her family, along with other activities such as yoga and hiking. Her favorite place to hike is in Arizona, where she would like to move after retirement.
Kinda is one of our Patient Care Coordinators who has been caring for patients for 18 years. She graduated from Davenport University. Kinda has been at Ada Family Dentistry since spring of 2011. She keeps current by attending continuing education classes and dental seminars related to all aspects of patient services and dental insurance.
Outside the office Kinda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially while camping and enjoying the outdoors. Kinda especially loves and treasures the time she spends with her grandchildren.
